Designer
The Designer is the central element of SEMYOU TEMPLATE and offers you the possibility to create new templates in a few steps and to make them available centrally. The following functions are available via the Designer:
✔ Create new fields
✔ Modify existing fields
✔ Define document properties such as page margins or correction language
✔ Define document properties
The elements that are available and can be used via the Designer must be configured accordingly in advance via the web application. Configuration and administration are performed by authorized users in your organization.
Field types
In SEMYOU TEMPLATE the following field types are available for the data sources BusinessUnit, UserProfile and Forms. Each attribute is assigned to one of these types and represents a corresponding control in MS-Word.

Document settings
The document properties can be defined individually per template. I.e. either fixed or dynamically linked values can be defined for the document properties. During template generation, these values are then automatically set for the document.

Document property
The document properties can also be set individually per template. Either a predefined fixed value or a dynamically linked value can be specified.
Important
Please note that the document properties must be specified in English only. Even for other languages, the assignment is always made to the English name of the property.
