Create client

SEMYOU Template is fully multi-client capable, which makes it possible to centrally map different companies, departments, subsidiaries, etc. within one system.

A client in itself represents a closed unit to which users with appropriate permissions have access. Templates and images are always stored per client in SEMYOU Template and can be accessed only with appropriate authorization.

To create a new client, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to SEMYOU TEMPLATE with your username and passwordhttps://template.semyouonline.com
     
  2. Select Settings> Clients from the left navigation menu. The administration area is displayed 

     
  3. Select the New button
     
     
  4. Assign a name and optionally provide a description for the client Make sure the name is not already assigned. 

     
  5. Select Save to create the client. The new client has been created and is visible in the table.

 

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met:

  • You have a SEMYOU user account.
  • You have a valid TEMPLATE App license
  • You have the app administration permissions

 

 

Delete client

If you no longer need a client, it can be completely deleted from the system.

To delete a client, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to SEMYOU TEMPLATE with your username and passwordhttps://template.semyouonline.com
     
  2. Select Settings> Clients from the left navigation menu. The administration area is displayed
     
  3. Select the client you want todelete and choose Delete from the context menu 
     
  4. Enter the exact name of the client in the confirmation prompt and select Delete client
     
  5. The client and all associated data have now been deleted

 

Important

Please note that this operation cannot be undone! All client related data will be irrevocably deleted!

 

 

 

Edit client

If you want to rename a client or edit the descriptive attributes, you can easily edit it via the administration area. Via editing you can:

  • Rename the name of the client
  • Change client attribute values

To edit a client, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to SEMYOU TEMPLATE with your username and passwordhttps://template.semyouonline.com
     
  2. Select Settings> Clients from the left navigation menu. The administration area is displayed
     
  3. Select the client you want to edit and choose  Edit from the context menu. The window for editing is displayed. Under the Attributes area, all client attributes defined in advance are displayed, which can be filled with content.
     
  4. Make your changes to the contents and select Save to save the data. The changed values are directly available to all users.

 

Important

Please note that the client attributes must first be defined via the Data Sources area.

 

 

 

Clients - permissions

Authorizations are therefore always mapped on the basis of a SEMYOU user account in relation to a client.

The following authorizations are available per client

  • Read
  • Write
  • Manage

 

To assign authorizations for a client, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to SEMYOU TEMPLATE with your username and passwordhttps://template.semyouonline.com
     
  2. Select Settings>Permissions from the left navigation menu. The administration area is displayed
     
  3. Select the New button
     
  4. Select a user / group from the SEMYOU domain 
     
  5. Select a client and set the appropriate permissions
     
  6. Select Save and save the authorization

 

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met:

  • You have a SEMYOU user account.
  • You have a valid TEMPLATE App license
  • You have the app administration permissions
